After the recent success of another single-story, three-bedroom and two-bathroom project in West Footscray, the Little Fish team set out to identify and acquire another dual occupancy site at 28 Sredna Street West Footscray that lent itself to this strategy.

Construction is now complete. One dwelling has been sold, and the other is currently being rented.

Construction Updates

18.09.2018 - construction is now complete.

Previous Updates

04.04.2018 - framing has been completed, roof trusses are on. Windows have been ordered, the project is almost at lockup.

05.04.2018 - windows are in.

13.04.2018 - sisalation is complete and the brick layers are underway.

01.05.2018 - brickwork and exposed beam carports done, ready for the roof tiles.

21.05.2018 - roof tiles almost complete.

28.05.2018 - roof is now complete, internal fix has begun.

13.06.2018 - electrical, plumbing, cooling and heating rough in's almost complete and ready for plastering.

25.06.2018 - plastering now complete and ready for the painter.

02.07.2018 - solid hardwood floors are down and fixing almost complete.

11.07.2018 - fixing is now complete, all joinery caucus's are in and wet areas have now been waterproofed.

16.07.2018 - internal painting is underway.

23.07.2018 - internal painting is now complete with the fit off of internal fixtures and fittings about to get underway. External landscaping and driveway poor expected to begin soon.

31.07.2018 - internal tiling of all wet areas is complete and stone bench-tops installed.

07.08.2018 - all concrete has been poured including the driveways and external paths. Internal fit off to begin this week.

13.08.2018 - rear landscaping is complete, awaiting gas connection so the front landscaping can be completed. Internal fit off, external clothes line, letterbox and water tank all this week.

21.08.2018 - gas has now been connected, so front landscaping expected to start this week. Internal fit off is also complete. Solid timber floors to be sanded and polished later this week.

27.08.2018 - landscaping completed. Floors, caulking and paint touch ups this week. It's officially on the home straight.

04.09.2018 - carpet will be finished by mid week, driveway seal later in the week and final finishing touches at the end of the week.

12.09.2018 - carpet and timber floor done, internal paint touch ups and caulking underway. Final clean Friday and lastly the driveway seal next week.

Construction is now complete and the new dwellings have now hit the market and will provide a great opportunity for young families and elderly couples that value the convenience of single-story affordable inner-city living.
